How much does it cost...

How much does it usually cost to get the egr cooler block of kit and to get it installed. also what if i do the studs at the same time how much does that generally run.

$2500 to $3500 is a typical range I see for studs. Add some extra for the EGR kit. The key is finding a good shop that also uses a good machine shop. Where are you located?

I am right outside of chicago, il. There is this company called hypermax located near me and is a dedicated 7.3 and 6.0 shop.

Anything over $3500 and you're getting ripped off IMO. I would shop around a little to find the best price. I actually know a guy who got quoted for $5300

I called two places today one place quoted me at 3400 and thats them pulling the motor out completely changing the rear main, new head gaskets and studs, couple other gaskets and stuff clean the turbo as well.

Another place quoted me at 5300 and i hung up on him.
