Another daytime running lights thread.......

Hi, I've done a fair bit of searching online and on here but can't seem to find any relay/resistor on my truck to do with the daytime running lights? I'd rather not get a generic unit and splice wires but I gotta get this done and tested before I can register/insure it. Can anyone verify that the relay/resistor are present on a US early 99 (04/98 manufacture date) F550 XLT 4x4 reg cab manual? I'll step up my search if I know it's there. Thanks.

You wan the lights, or you want them gone?
I didn't want them, so I pulled the 30 amp fuse and no more DT lights. Don't remember which one it was, but it was on the fuses list.

I have just imported a 2005, and resorted to using an aftermarket drl module from Canada Tire, ($40.00). I tried to get ford parts to activate the drl as factory installed, but there were no parts available and even the ford dealers had three different opinions of what could be done. I finally resorted to doing it myself with the module, it works and will get me through the inspections.
