Hose needs a downward slope to it, there is a slight amount of liquified oil that will come out. A few peeps run it along the exhaust pipe and let it discharge back there.
There is a thread with pics that shows how to build a trap using the green kitchen scratch pads. Don't remember where it is though....

Thanks Steve. I have the link for the trap. I guess I'll reroute the line along the top of the frame rail, making sure I keep a slope in it.

Put the trap as close to the doghouse as possible, then the possibility of liquid in the system freezing is drastically reduced due to less liquid actually being in the system. Then the slope (up or down) has less effect on routing.
