When I hit the switch for the washer, all I get is a clicking sound. Plenty of fluid in the reservoir, but nothing comes out.

Is there a relay somewhere in this circuit that may be blown? If so, any idea where it is?

Disconnect the electrical plug supplying power to the washer pump, and see if you have power there when you hit the switch. If so, the pump is bad. If not, then it's electrical.
The click you hear is probably the relay operating...

 

I had the same problem a while back - turned out that the contacts on the pump were a bit corroded - gave them a quick cleaning and the pump works again. BTW - the module that you hear clicking is behind the glovebox and controls the entire wiper system.

 

Also check the hose that connects the reservoir to the windshield, mine broke and even though i pushed the button it just leaked water somewhere in the engine bay.

 

Got it fixed, bad pump.
I had one in a drawer.
