Yeah, glad to hear from you guys. For awhile there I was thinking I was the only member left in the Ontario chapter!!!LMAO When I was lifting that short block off the tailgate I even had a chery picker!!! It was the jostleing the damn thing around to get it lined up with the boom and then putting it in the engine stand reciever that's what killed my back. Then to top it all off, yesterday I was cutting some boxes up and almost cut the thumb oFF!!! Got her right at the first knuckle. Now that smarts. So today I'm playing it safe, staying in the house away from tools, the shop and anything sharp. I'm even having the old girl pick up some some KFC so I won't have to make supper. Yep, everyhting for the 400 is coming together now, just waiting for my "sister-in-law" to bring back the roller cam from the US. and we can put her together. TTYL John

I have to go to a funeral on Wedensday because a good friend slipped and fell, knocked her self out and froze to death last Friday night. 46 years old is WAY TOO young to go. Take care all my FTE friends. Popa John

Well I hope this is the last funeral I have to go to. Enough is enough, 3 in two months!!!! Thanks Chad, your condolences are appreciated. SOOO lets get on with the merry making and talking about Arthur. I know it's very early to get things going for the show, but I believe we should get a plan in place for meeting. Everyone has a different idea and or plan so now is the time to work out the bugs, make changes and hear everyone out. I can't speak for anyone except for myself and the Old Girl. So what say all you guys and gals??? John

Sorry to hear that Chad, maybe things will change as August 2012 is quite aways away. How was Christmas for you all?? I cleaned up, son got me my performer 400 and the Old Girl got me an HEI from performace distributors. Which brings me to a question that maybe someone here can help me with. I've tried the search and general discussion threads to no avail. What do you do with the wiring to and from the control modual??? The HEI is a 3 wire hook-up 12v feed, tach hook-up and ground. I want to have as clean a look under the hood as possible. That means I don't want the wires just hanging loose or taped up. Anyone done this upgrade? I know it's a GM ignition, but it is a Christmas gift and I WILL use it. any help will be greatly appreciated. Popa John

What tranny is it? AOD or AOD-E??? (sorry, not to up on my 80s-90s stuff any more) if it's not an electronic tranny you can use it, as long as you get the kickdown stuff set up properly.

Hi falconqueen, Still working on "Christine" Got the 408 together, now the tranny is next. In between, I am doing the sanding and body mods . Ya can't rush perfection. So it's taking a LOT longer than I had hoped for. Plus being on a FIXED income doesn't help matters either. I may not have the '77 at Arthur, but I'll be there...... at the beer pavilion. How's things going there? Popa John
