cb question

I put my cb in my new truck and when I talk my voice comes out through my subs. I have a uniden cb and a heavy duty jensen stereo from john deere. It does not play on my speakers in the doors just my subs. Had the same setup in my other truck and never had it do this. Any ideas?

your wires to the sub may the same wave length as the CB frequency and is working like an antenna. that or you have some feed back problem.

Il have to check how I wired it. In my other truck cb was wired into the.fuse panel under the dash. And ground was run to the factory ground point the is on the right when you remove the kick panel under the steering wheel.

I think we have a winner...shield the lines to the sub...

If you have an amp you may need to shield it as well.
