Leather Seat Cover

Hey guys and gals.

In my 03 f250 supercab, I have leather bucket seats.

I picked up a complete set of seats from an 03 f350 crewcab for dirt cheap (100 bucks for front buckets, back seat, and center console, found out that the buckets from the crewcab dont have the seatbelt on the seat, but bought em anyways for that price!) and thought I would try swapping the seat cushion, heating element, and leather cover from the crewcabs passenger side bucket seat, to my supercabs drivers seat.

Anyone have any clue if they are swappable from side to side? I can see the drivers and passengers side have a slightly different shape to them, but Im just not sure if it would end up being a whole lot different.

Don't have a clue but what a deal. My drivers seat need some work so I'd just swap the hole thing out. Good luck, show us some pictures, really like to see them.

Heating element for your seats?!?!?! Down here in Texas, we are trying to figure out a way to put cooling elements in our seats.

Sheldon, I believe the foam is a different shape and the covers will have the seat belt hole on the wrong side. Have you considered calling a local auto upholstery shop? They could patch the leather and give you new foam. That or you can order new seat foam from the dealer.

Speak for yourself. I added a heating element to my seat. I've seen more snow here in the last 3 years than my 88 year old neighbor has seen his entire life. Besides, I hate the cold. If it's below 40 in the morning I put the seat heater on to warm me up.
