shock mount

So i just put a 2 inch leveling kit on my 76 to fit 35s. it all went smooth.

also got the shocks to go with it but when i removed my old shocks the metal sleeve that goes into the bushing (top) it stuck on the stud. i have taken a torch to it and can't get it off for nothin. the sleeve is to big to be used with the new shocks. any ideas? here is a picture.

The loop style shocks that fit this usually have bushings that you push fit in.
They are usually shipped with the smaller ID bushings as you are finding out.
You have to track down the larger ID bushings. Got mine at Bronco Graveyard.
I had the same problem.

Hard to say.
I don't have to much faith in them, although here and there, there are some good ones.
I just reread your post.
Those bushings that I linked should do it. Notice the large ID compared to the set next to them. BG sends out the smaller set and somehow you're supposed to know that you have to buy the larger size.

The interesting thing to me is that the thicker diameter stud is not mentioned anywhere.
I ran into those bushings by chance.
