If the sleeve comes off it will fit right? If so I'd start with a 3" cutting wheel on a high speed. Cut it lengthwise, You won't be able able to cut it all because if the bolt head, but you will get about half cut, and can finish with a sharp cold chisel. Should come off.

It's not. I ran into the same thing.
They're looking at a parts book.
For some reason the rubber sent with these shocks is to small. The poly is the right size. At least mine was. Maybe a part number is screwed up.
I'm going to call BG tomorrow morning and yak about it. I'll also ask them who builds their shocks then call the shock maker to see what the scoop is.
I'm really curious as to what's up also.
I'll get back with you tomorrow.

I've cut tons if those off. A steady hand, a good high speed cutoff wheel, chisel and hammer, and your golden. Or buy more parts.

If I was going to a dual shock set up (which I will later) I wouldn't have a problem cutting it.
For now though I want it to be stockISH.
Just fries my nads that there is no research material/listings for it.
