clutch not engaging

clutch not engaging
Hey guys we recwntly bought a 94 ranger 2wd and the clutch would engage all the way at the top of the petal and also slid out of 4th up hills so we figure it needed a clutch. Well after we replaced the clutch now it wont engage at all. Is this a common problem and any help is awesone!!

I see you don't have any replies, so I'll see if I can get things started. Lots of unknowns.
Was the flywheel ok, or was it removed & refinished, is the flywheel & clutch OEM, was the clutch release cylinder replaced & if so was it with an OEM part, is the release cylinder freely moving it full length of travel & has the clutch hydraulic system been properly bled????
