Clutches
My 95 Mazda 5 speed's clutch chattered bad this morning like jumping taking off and I have had it where the clutch has the burnt smell twice not intentionally. I have to let the clutch out at about between 1/4 and 1/2 out before it moves but I belive that is normal I have checked the clutch fluid its ok am I coming close to having new clutches put in because of the jumping while taking off?

You probably have glazed the disc about the time you smelled the clutch. This will cause the chattering you mention. Replacing the clutch is about the only cure. Always be sure to suface the flywheel when replacing the clutch. Your vehicle also has the internal slave cylinder which is a good idea to replace when doing the clutch.
