My 91 F150 with a 302 developed a slight "miss" or "stumble" at idle. The stumble got worse with more throttle...so at full throttle it would "buck and chug".
I searched this Forum for "stumble" and got lots of ideas. I checked the simplest option first and EUREKA! The number 4 sparkplug (passenger side, way in back), had two cracks running the length of the insulator! Swapped it out with a fresh one and YEEHAW, back on the road!!
Once in awhile we all get lucky. Fixed this one for less than a buck!
