bucking in over drive, and in neutral
Hi folks, Tom here. 2004 F250 Superduty, 6.0 4x4 CC Harley edition short bed.
My problem is when I am driving between 60 and 70 and truck goes into overdrive it starts to buck. I found a bad carrier, and some u joints looked bad, bought new drive shaft from Ford, and the shaking is gone but not the bucking.
I'm running a scan gauge 2 , and there are no codes. I bought rev- x and used it. the problem when away after about 2 days, then came back the next day. If I cancel over drive buy forcing truck to downshift the bucking goes away.
I put the truck in neutral and ran the RPMs to about 2000 and felt a stumbling between around 1300 and 2000 so it is happening when the truck is in park as well.
There is no smoke whatsoever, not even when slamming the peddle down. The truck has been bullet proofed before I bought it as well, and I have all the shop receipts to certify this.
Yesterday I got my oil temp above 195 on the way home and it seemed to smooth out. I'm thinking I have at least one bad injector, but thought I should see some kind of code for this. there is no Check engine light either. truck runs good at idle and throughout throttle until it shifts to overdrive. Thought the rev x fixed it but guess not.
