How do u handle snow/ice?
Here, there are few people moving in the ice except people like me that have to go out to get life back to normal. However, i did meet a few in full slides toward the inside lanes and saw one pass the plow truck, slide, and get plowed. I was patiently following it because it was going the same speed I had been going. However, the road was a lot nicer 50 feet behind it then in front of it.
Other than snow tires and the tent, I keep most all of the other things in the truck including a set of insulated coveralls. Those are more for when I get to work but I have put them on before I left the house so they would be half warm when I got to work. I add the flat bladed full size shovel when I add the round bale and put on the chains while the truck is warming up and defrosting. We usually know when its coming so a full tank of fuel is also added in case I do end up sitting and waiting somewhere.
