Why do you use the stabilizer? No need to IMO. The synthetic oil is very good and should not need anything added to it.
With synthetic you should be able to run the oil out pretty far, like 10k. I would suggest getting oil simple analysis though. It can help keep an eye on the oil and the engine. Ou should also look at adding a by-pass filter setup. That will filter the oil much finer than the full flow filter you have on it now.
Driving has a lot to do with how long you run the oil. If you idle a lot, or run long miles at highway speeds makes a big difference. How do you use your rig?

Thanks for the quick reply. After posting, I went to their site. They suggest 1 quart per oil change.
I am not a believer in using additives in engine oil. Many are nothing more than snake oils that say right on the label they help. I have never had to use any oil additive in any car, truck, tractor, or airplane I have owned. I just do not believe you need to spend hard earned money on them when high quality oils that are formulated are readily available. Just my .02 worth.
I run the rotella 15/40 dino and change mine 5k-6k. I just changed it after 6500 miles and mostly highway and pulling boats 7k-10k. I am sending in a sample to the Blackstone to see what they say. I am hoping to get a good report and see if I can go 6500-7k per oil change. And with Sny I am sure you can go between 7k-10k. But to know for sure get Blackstone to do lab work done on the oil.
And I am with Ken on adding the Lucas, it isn't needed. That and their oil additive is dino based and I wouldn't add it to syn oil. Just my 2cents
i use whatever is cheapest name-brand at walmart. i have to go across the border to get it, so i tend to stock up. have been using motorcraft, delo and castrol. i have a higher mileage truck. and i give it oil changes 3issh times a year or about 6000kms.(probably 4500ish miles) or whatever comes first. i might not get alot of mileage, but a lot of starts and stops/hours.
My truck has never had anything but Chevron Delo 15-40 and ford filters since new. Change oil and filter every 8,000 Km-4800 miles. Now have 250,000 Km - 150,000 miles.

People on this site have had trouble using Lucas additive in there oil . Our injection system does not seem to like it. If your using RotellaT6 5-40 you don't need any additive. Its all personal but I go by what I've heard on here. Most additives are snake oil as someone has already said. Just a good sell pitch. Good luck, Chet

I could see adding additives to off brand or conventional oil.
But brand name synthetics such as Shell T6 are already manufactured so well that additives many not only be useless, but might actually work against the fine tuning of the oil.
I am using the Rottela T6 Synthetic (3 gallons) and 3qts of Lucas Oil Stabilizer.
What do ya'll recommend for mileage on that?
As always thanks!
STOP! Do not put three quarts of that crap in your PSD...look at the operating viscosity of it..45 cST! Your motor oil is in the 14-16 cSt range. That crap is like tar and IMHO doesn't do anything. Look at the description doesn't tell you anything, it is a gloried oil thickener. The only thing it could be good for is an engine burning an lot of oil...other than that it is a waste of money.
