I used it in my dodge and it seemed to like it. Ran it out to 13k miles once but I didn't run a UOA. I might be running JD Plus 50 10w-30 if I can get my hands on it, looks like a nice cold weather oil.

I would let a UOA be your guide if your going to run over 6-7k. For what it is worth International recommends a 10k oci on the T444e, so stockish trucks should have no trouble with 7500 or so OCIs IMHO.

normally I change the oil in my '97 once a year (10,000 to 30,000 miles depending on which truck gets used the most) (220,000 miles on truck)
I changed the oil in my '99 when I bought it in April of 2010. (340,000 miles on truck)
I only run rotella t6 and send a sample to labone every 5,000 miles. if it passes I change the filter and top off the oil and wait another 5,000 miles to test it again.

Are you running a 5-40 full synthetic?

I'm using the T6 with the Amsoil oil filters, I also use the
RA450 FilterMAG Magnets on the oil filter, they really trap the
metal filings and the sludge.

The magnets are so strong you need to use a special bolt/tool
to remove the magnets. You cannot remove them with just hand strength.

I have been going about 5000 on the oil, in S Florida.

I need to do a flush/cooling now, I am thinking about the new Prestone
Purple colored Diesel Coolant Cat rated,

Prestone Heavy Duty Antifreeze/Coolant Specifications

I'm running Amsoil 15-40 with the BHOF and am currently 5k through a 10k run... I'll send off the sample to blackstone and depending what they say, maybe going to push 15k.

Last sample I sent (I changed) at 8k miles (With a standard WIX filter) and it came back fine. I only changed it because I had a 3,500 mile trip, and to install a Fumoto Valve.

Once I get a bypass on... I hope/plan for 25k

I couldn't get past 13K with the Amsoil... it sheared down to a 30 weight before I could get that far. It looked really good at 8K, but was scary at 13K. I've been pushing 18K with my Schaeffer 5w40 and all seems good.

With help from Blackstone Labs I am now going 12k miles or every two years on Delo 400 and a Motorcraft filter. It all started after a 10k road trip without an oil change and the results I got back from Blackstone were encouraging telling me I could go 12k on the oil. Well in one year of living in small town Alaska, I only went 6k and changed the oil for the hell of it. Just got the lab results and I was told I can go up to 2 years on the oil or 12k miles. They also told me I may be showing early signs of a head gasket leak.

If nothing else, blackstone labs have been worth every bit of the 25.00 per oil change in saving me a lot of $$$. I have to post a big update on my Mugly thread sometime but I will be sure to include the results from these oil samples.

I am running John Deere plus fifty II 15 40 with 14 ounces of sfr oil fortifier I have a soil test machine and I am hoping to get some oil together and test it and see which oil is the best I'm planning on testing John Deere 1540 what I use rosella t 1540 and delo 1540 any suggestions on other to test the way this machine works is it spins a roller brg and has a arm that comes down on it and you add weight to it and the roller runs in oil when ever you add enough weight it stops turning the test is complete whic oil holds the most weight wins and it's the better oil I'm hoping to find time this winter to do it
