I am looking for a new four barrel carburetor for my 1984 Ford F-150 and found one in Summit magazine.
It was a Holley 4160 with a Ford Automatic Kickdown. I am just curious what is that and is it good to have? My engine is a 302 and I just want to know what it is because Summit also has the same carburetor without the Ford Automatic Kickdown for a little less cash and I want to make sure it is worth the extra money. Also I may be getting my hands on a second hand Holley 4160 4 barrel. If I get that one rebuilt how long should that one last me especially the electric choke? I appreciate any feedback you guys can give me because this weekend I am doing a lot of work and I just would like some insight on what is the best thing to do. Thanks.
