I have never tried the Lucas stuff. Seafoam is fine to use. Not sure how many miles are on your truck. Follow what I did in Post #1 and you should not have a problem. The engine should be at operating temp so all the components are at the same temp. Just letting it sit at an idle for a few min before you change them does not cut it. Have all your tools ready to go so you can start pulling the plugs out as soon as you pull the truck in the garage. A helpful tool for the removal process is a 6 to 8 inch section of old air compressor hose to help with pulling the plugs out of the head after they are loose. It also helps with putting the new plugs in and getting the threads started. The end of the plug should fit snug inside the tubing. This makes getting the back plugs started much easier. Good luck
