Cat ELC is one of the best for are trucks. Good find. Son just put it in his 6.0L after all the upgrades he did. Just make sure you flush all the old stuff out good. They don't mix that well.

I don't believe so, distilled water is devoid of any minerals, which are what you don't want in your cooling system. I believe purified water is just filtered down very well, but still contains minerals. Distilled should run about a buck a gallon.

ELC mixes fine with the traditional green coolant or the hybrid OAT Ford gold (G-05) coolant, you'll just lose the extended life properties of the ELC, depending on how much of the other coolant is mixed with the ELC.

No, it's not. It's better than tap, and if you can't get a hold of distilled or deionized, then purified water is better than nothing.
The distilled water is just to flush your engine right? I think the ELC is premixed.
No.
You flush the engine with tap water and flush the tap out with the distilled water. That's why you can't use the 50/50 mix and need the concentrate because about 4 gallons of the distilled stays in the block.
