i believe the diesel oil suitable for the six-o's is ci-4, cj-4. i tink there might be other ratings but these are the only ones we look out for our six-o's.

Also we need to tell him not to be fooled by anything other than using Motorcraft air filters as the others are junk compared to the filtering qualities of the Motorcraft Blue (Donaldson) filter.
completely agree especially if ur not doing excessive towing wif a whole bunch of mods on ur car, then stick to the oem air filter from motorcraft (donaldson). i've seen a video where the oem air filter was put to the test wif the other brands, and it works better than the rest.

Racor PFF4616 $35.75

Comes with both filters.

Keep them in mind for all your filter needs.

I have heard it verified that Fram OIL filters are made by Racor. I have never heard anyone verify that Fram FUEL filters were made by Racor.

And, in my opinion, if you are using the Fram boxed filter, always check for the patent numbers and felt ring, etc. I wouldn't put it past Fram to change filters at any time if it saves them money.

I stated that the fram CH-9549 oil filters are made by Racor. I never stated that the fuel filters were. Use only Racor, Motorcraft or IH there.
