I believe Viper alarm systems are still leading the aftermarket sales for car alarms.
If you go to a stereo shop you can ask them but I've been told that Clifford makes the Viper system. I've had two Clifford systems and one viper. All three were paging systems and identical in features. Both Clifford alarms had a much better range than the Viper and the Viper seemed to "eat" AA batteries much faster on the key fob.
Where is the best place to order jimmy jammers? Thanks! My next mod for sure.

You are correct, Clifford and Viper are now the made by the same company "directed electronics", they are the same system with different labels. These pager units are now rechargeable.
I like it. It seems that we are just beginning to see the full potential of window and glass films. I watched a two guys at the SEMO show demonstrate coating an entire Mustang with some cool colored film. Took them about half an hour and the car looked amazing.
If it's easy to apply to vehicles, you could also apply to all ground level windows in your home. This is cool stuff.

A friend of mine actually does that. He has a business installing LLumar window films. He does vehicles, commercial and residential buildings, etc. It's tough stuff for sure:
