I'm looking at putting a security system in my truck before i head of to college in the fall. I've heard alot of good things about viper and i was looking at a two way remote start security system. Any suggestions?

I have the viper led 2-way system....and love it...plus with the remote starts and the winter it is a great setup....plus there are so many more options that you can plug into it...just my opinion to

i have had great success with crimestopper brand. will you be doing the install, or having someone else do it? just remember that no matter which brand you get it is only as good as the install. there are a lot of awesome features available for these units today.

I'm still on the fence with this one. How easy is it would close to anyone install it or dealer mostly. If I can install i'd get it.

It isn't horrible but. If you don't know how to use a meter or test light I wouldn't attempt. I have installed elevator controllers and was more nervous about putting in my alarm.
