Where are you getting metal hangers? All I can find are plastic. You know they have this new invention called welding rod.
That's funny right there!
About learning to MIG, buy yourself a machine, get some scrap, watch a few YouTube videos, and practice.
Miller has a line of Autoset welders that makes welding real easy. The Millermatic 140 or 211 with autoset are awesome machines... pick the wire and then set the other **** to the thickness of the material, pull the trigger, and all sorts of magic happens. The 140 is good for bodywork and smal fab projects up to 3/16ths plate with proper preparation. Opt for the 211 cuz it can handle everything that you will want to do on these rigs.

yeah ok you got me, but I put stick welding in my reply, yeah I was there at work & a guy came in with welding rods that welded aluminum to copper, cast iron & about every metal you can think of. the torch & metal hanger trick was back in the early 80's , so thats my lame excuse

oh I knew that really I'm a mellow type old guy, hey I would rather laugh about things then gripe about them. I love jokes & funny emails life is too short for wasting it on getting mad.
Sure if you have tons of money to just throw out the window
LOL you have me mixed up with someone who has money. I used to find them laying around the garage back in the good old days. I only have 3 left & they have more paint than metal now.
