Posi re-gear

I am building up a low buck rear.... I got a new clutch set for and old 28 spline equalock from my 67 bronco and I am putting it into a 79 center with 28 spline axles. My question is if you can use 4.11 gears on that posi. Factory it had 3.50 gears. I remember there being different posi units for gears over a certain size or under a certain size.... So can i use the 4.11 gears on this posi?

Center chunk should be the same on all 9" rears. The front axle is where you run into problems. I swapped my 4:11's into a later model third member since my old one was busted.
