Your 3 favorite mods...

What are your 3 favorite mods in terms of 'best bang for the buck'? Why?

What results did you get & approx cost?

(Not necessarily limited to engine mods...and please don't overwhelm us with acronyms!)

I'd have to say: 1- Hutch & harpoon(In tank) - App $150.00 with good filter under truck 2-6637 filter- App $50.00- 3- Gauges- App-$250.00 -

1. newer style dash cup holders. (free) pulled out of wrecked work truck
2. dp tuner (worth every penny) permagrin
3. lift kit tires(way too much money) it just looks right to me

Automagic Heater Bypass. $40.00 in parts
2 Wheel Low Switch. $10.00 in parts
SCMT to keep it from down shifting going up overpasses. $400 IIRC

1 led on glow plug relay about ($2.00)
2 my 16.50 dash panel for gauges (16.50 plus some material)
3 opened the radius of the fill neck on the fuel fill tube (free)

DP tuner, gauges ($450), and exhaust... Hard choice though, the Stearing box and the sway bar are a must too (though not as fun)

Only three…
1. Suspension lift/wheels/tires around 3,000+ Just because I like it
2. 91 gallon Auxiliary fuel tank around 1,000 great for having the peace of mind about fuel and that I can back in the woods and not worry about having enough to get back out
3. WARN Power Plant HD around 2,500 I use it almost every week for something

DP live tune - Amazing
Van Turbo - 100 + rebuild kit and flange
Dual 6" Stacks - 300

and numerous other hand built items at the cost of metal(stack cover, front hitch, etc)

Hmm...
Good question and timely for me because I just picked up another 7.3 to add to the stable. So some mods are on deck. Since this truck will be a dedicated tow vehicle I think I will take care of these things first.
