nerf Bar Replacement Step Pad

Hi All, I have a 2003 F350 SD CC 2wdd with OEM Nerf Bars. I lost one of the molded step pads and went to the local Ford dealer who said I have to buy a whole new bar which is ridiculous. The pad is oval 4" wide approx 27" long and has the Ford logo in the center. I have looked for other markings but I can't locate any to see who actually manufactured them so I could contact them direct to purchase. Does anyone know where I can get these or who is the mfg?
Thanks,
George

Pull the other one off and go to a skateboard shop and get some grip tape!! They
make it in different colors to match your truck or just standard black. just
be sure to prep the surface and clean it real good with alcohol rubbing in one
direction only, scruffing up the chrome will help it stick to and may or may not be
needed do a test piece first.

Bringing this one back from the dead

We finally lost a couple of these on a loooong road trip this summer. There's an indent the length of where the pad goes so using the skateboard tape really doesn't work. Just checking to see if anyone else has had success with replacements for these.

If I have to replace I'll probably just get the black ones with the heavy duty tread material welded on that I've seen around...

In 2003, DeeZee was rumored to be the OEM for the nerf bars. I know Westin used to sell pads separately so it might be worth a phone call.

I actually had the same problem with my 01. Nobody sells replacement pads that I could find. I ended up cutting a piece of 1/4 inch flooring underlayment in the oval shape to fit in the recessed area. Then I covered it in the anti slip tape from the hardware store similar to the skateboard tip above. I was able to install 2 new nutserts in the factory holes, drill a couple of corresponding holes in the nerf bar and bolted them on. If you cant install nutserts as you dont have the tool, a couple of self tapping screws would work fairly well I think,
