Then you should go to 'craigslist spokane' (very dry part of our state) and type in '1958'. You will see an f600 napco 4wd short wheelbase dump truck. I tried to put the add here, but it wouldn't go. It's definately worth looking at and I'm with you. I think the fridge is a very cool truck. Grown on me too. In a big way....

I learned the "fridge" term here and I think its a good description of the style-very utility like. And I never much cared for the appearance ofthese trucks--back when--but they've grown on me. I was mostly a "fat fendered' guy like the F1's but I've broadened my outlook. I especially like the tall 4x4 work trucks--They're so classic!! At one time I was pretty much only an admirer of the Dodge Power Wagons of this era--but I've jumped ship and prefer the big Fords now.
