It look's like a little condensation in the oil. Change your oil and monitor. My old 5.4 and 5.0 did that in the winter/cooler temps, when I only drove 2 miles a day. The engine didnt get hot enough to evaporate the condensation. Or it could be coolant leaking somewhere. I would change oil and monitor.

I agree. Hopefully it's simply due to short trips, nothing else. Change the oil & take it for a ride.

If I stare at it long and hard enough, I think I see Jesus.

All joking aside, change the oil and take it for a long enough drive to burn off moisture and monitor it as others have suggested.

Agree. Just condensation. Oil hasn't gotten hot enough to evaporate.

Second picture looks like a profile of the Loch Ness monster.

I'm with the rest of the lemmings, change the oil and take it for a nice ride.

How does the oil look when you pull the dipstick? What does the coolant look like in the degass bottle?

Ok, now comes the Pete-N-Repeat show...change yer oil.

Coolant is nice and green. Oil is starting to darken but still brown.

I had an old s10 blazer that the intake leaked and washed out the bearings. Guess I'm a lil paranoid.

Yeah. Change your oil, clean up the cap, and when you drive it, make sure you get it up to operating temps and then drive it for another 10 to 15 minutes depending on the outside temps.

Continue monitoring your oil.
