wierd truck issue

wierd truck issue
It happened about a month ago, just starting to dig into it now.
driving down freeway after a day of shooting in the bush. everything has been great, stereo is loud, its sunny, then i get nothing from my go pedal, like truck has died, engine light pops on, but then everything starts working again within a second. i couldnt hear wether the engine shut off unfortunately. another couple miles down the road, engine light goes out and i havent had a problem since!
codes p1670 and p1316.... i replaced my idm in august. i have NEVER had this problem in the 3 years i had this truck. faulty IDM? why would it hiccup like that.... there was no excessive vibration, which is wierd it would happen out of the blue. just cruising on the freeway.
i havent been on here for a while.. hi guys!

Those 2 codes together seems like an issue between the IDM and PCM, I would look at the wiring to the PCM and 42 pin connector on the VC for secure connections and no chaffing.
Look at the IDM relay, maybe swap with the blower motor relay.
