I had a thread awhile ago with a stalling issue when water got anywhere near my truck. Anyways, i changed my cracked coil and made a snorkel that is run through the firewall into the cab with a filter mounted inside. I went out this weekend and took it easy to see how these helped it out. Check out the pics....

I had a foot of water in the cab. Truck was still running as i was underwater and I had no stalling issues. I was so amazed!

86 F250
stock 351w with headers straight piped exhaust
38.5x12.5x16.5 Gumbo monster mudder tires on mickey tompson rims
six in suspension with three in body lift

Im working on getting a video up for everyone to see the big diesel ford with 39x18.5x16 tires on it hammering it 7-8 times from my bumper and a 25 ft tow strap to get the ole girl out. We all had a blast!

 

I gotta say, thats cool and a bit silly at the same time.

that is awesome!! and the most fun you can have on a weekend. every year a bunch of use get together and go mudding like that. avg.. 20 30 trucks.
