Im gonna get my transmission rebuilt. Problem is i honestly dont know where i should go to get it rebuilt. I could pull it myself and take it somewhere but does anyone know of any good trans shops in northeast ohio? ive got around 1500 to spend. Just researching what i can get for my money. Thanks

A nice solid build will cost that in parts. I'll be doing the same thing in a couple months and I'm looking at 1500 in parts from racer x

I rebuilt mine twice, first for 1,800 and second for 2,000. I wish now that I would have combined that for a 'real' rebuild.

There's a couple of trans shops around me. But I want a better build for a good price but. You can want in one hand and s*** in the other and see which on gets filled faster my dad always says. LOL

Rons is a good shop. You can buy a good kit with billet shafts and clutches and maybe get a shift kit or upgraded valve body and talk to my dad about the guy that did his. He works for Ron's but does transmissions at his house on the side for a better price. Just a thought
