Ford does offer a complete sealed hydraulic set up, but it's only for the 99-up Super Duty trucks. For the OBS trucks, you have to buy individual components.

My method is too chuck the master cylinder in a vise. The have some one hold the slave up over their head where the bleed screw(if it has one) is the highest point. The person holding the slave needs to control the plunger by putting a little resistance against it which will keep the pluger from over extending. If the plunger over extends the slave is toast. The person operating the MC must be careful not to blow the other guy up by pushung too fast too hard. Do this until you dont see or hear anymosre air or milky looking fluid. Then do it a few more times after that. It takes me like a 1/2 big bottle of brake fluid to get the results you need. Then simply take the unit over to the truck and weave it all back into place.
Go to the parts store and look at the slave before you buy it to make sure it has the bleed screw. I think Vatozone and Advanced dont have it. Oreillys has it if I remember right. The bleed screw is on the bottom(or maybe its on the top) of the slave at the back of the unit . It is an allan screw and its little.
If it is a 351 (or any Windsor bolt pattern) you should have the internal slave that you need to pull the tranny to replace.
Only the 460 & Diesel's got the external slave bellhousing.
