I have an 03' f250 I've had Hids in my headlights for about 3 months.my pass side went out so i changed the ballast wit three new hallways and a different bulbs still nothing...
next thing would be to check and see if you are getting voltage. turn on the headlights and use a voltmeter. Check each of the 3 wires on the pigtail. 1 should be power. mark that as lowbeam. switch on the highbeams. the other wire should be powered.
if you aren't getting power, start looking for a ground. most likely it's something to do with your HID's. but you never know
first thing, check the wiring with a volt meter, if it has power, swap the bulbs, if the working bulb works in the headlight with the dead light the problem is the bulb. If it does not work and you are 100% its getting power the problem is the ballast.
Didn't check it wit a voltage meter yet but put the stock bulb back in an it worked...switch the working driverside setup to the pass side and nothing....
