I had a question, occasionally .. once a month if even my truck has a hard start. It hesitates for just a half of minute. The truck is in perfect condition. Nothing else is wrong with it, besides that. It doesn't depend on weather. Just here and there. I was wondering what the cause of that may be that way I can fix it. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Under your fuel bowl is a sensor called the IPR that senses your oil pressure. There's a tin nut on the back that could be loosening and tightening somehow that could cause your issues. Just make sure it's on there ok past that I'm really not sure.
The fix is simple...just skip using the truck on that day that it's going to give you a hard start.
In all seriousness, I wouldn't worry too much about it if it is that infrequent. I've found that if I try to turn something into a problem...it actually becomes one!!!
