While switching out both batteries of my 2005 F250 PSD I noticed that there was a cable unplugged in the front right corner of the engine bay. It is fairly small and grey. I could not for the life of me figure out where this little guy goes. I have attached some pictures to make it easier to identify. Thanks in advance for the help guys!
On my truck (06,CC,Auto) there are two connectors on the bottom of the master cylinder coming up from the bottom. The back one looks like the one you are holding. Wire colors match except my red has white trace while your trace is purple. Also, I noticed on mine there is a blank plug ( for stowing a connector) on the large harness in the same area. May be a connector is not used on certain models would stow there.
Dumb thought, do you have an codes showing? If it was supposed to be plugged into, the PCM would be looking for that sensor. But as Rusty said, the wiring harness is built to cover several different versions of SuperDuties, so it's possible that doesn't apply too your truck.
The connector is for the brake pressure transducer on vehicles equipped with the factory trailer brake controller. It would plug into the bottom of master cylinder.

Wire Colors - Red/White, White/Red and Tan/Yellow
Brilliant! That must be it because I don't have the factory brake controller. Thanks a bunch guys.
