Trailer Connector under dash?
I was going to have them put a controller on and they looked and did not see a wiring harness. But I looked better and found a light gray rectangular connector with 6 possible pins with only 5 pins present. They are Red, Black, White, Blue and Green. I tried determining the wire color to function. When I applied the brake the "green" wire became hot. I thought this was supposed to be the blue? Or does the blue only work after the controller is connected.
Since I did not buy the standard connector I was going to hard wire thinking I did not have the tow package. I found another set of loose wires Red, Black, White, Blue and Blue/Red. But these did not seem to have any voltage. Could these wires be for a plow? I could not get conductivity between these and the pins in the above mentioned plug.
Thanks
Steve
That will give you color match.
I found my plug to the right of the under steering column access (kinda under radio area).

If the plug you found looks like the one shown on the left of the harness (open link above) then those are the correct wires. Read the technical bulletin as you may want to connect a seperate ground from the prodigy. Make sure your truck as proper fuses and relays too. The prodigy will not light up if it doesn't.
If the plug is correct you may want to go down to napa/rv store and spend the $10 on the plug and go harness.
Good Luck,
D
