Anybody ever used one of these? I am reading an ad for a local company that professionally installs these kits and is talking about mileage increase. Just wondering if anyone has actually used one. Thanks for any input.
search for "brown water" or "HHO" or "perpetual motion"
it's all a crock of crap. Save your money, and most importantly, don't install this crap on your truck. You are more likely to blow your motor up or cause other serious damage.
These kits work by fooling the PCM and adding unmetered air after the MAF. The MAF doesn't see this air, so the A/F mix gets leaned out. A more lean mix burns hotter and is more efficient...to a point. To much though and you will burn a hole in a cylinder.
You would be better off doing a Oil change, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs, rotate tires and check the pressures. You know, the basic tune up
