So I'm tracking down the parts for doing my axle rebuild, and I'm having some seriously conflicting prices on the ball joints for the Dana 50. I'm looking the get my bushings and tie rod parts from Energy Suspension (and get the body mounts/leaf bushings and crap all at the same time). PROTHANE 62027 Total Kit
Having never bought these parts before for my truck, I don't know what the difference is, if Moog is a better company, if LMC are oem parts, etc.
I'm looking for the better parts but I'd rather not pay twice as much for the same quality of part.
my (most likely original from '93) ball joints went south after plowing last year.i researched the web and most say you get what you pay for when it comes to ball joints and MOOG's where the #1 recommended by everyone and their brother i saw searching (a few odd ball brands here and there, but nothing that stood out like MOOG.)
being a miserable job to replace,id like to go a couple years at a time on a set of joints lol.
better search amazon too.thats where i got mine.they have the upper K80026 beat to your link by a long shot.
I get the feeling mine are origional as well, when I was under there doing the steering box I got aquainted with all the linkage parts, and such and they most of them are dry as a bone, cracked, or just plain have holes in them. I did whatever I could with a grease gun, and my finger to keep them going till I can replace them.

If your ball joints have grease fittings they arent original.
Damn that song is annoying on that page, couldn't find a way to disable it. And the catelog will not load for me, just hangs at the loading.
Found another site that will ship them to Canada, but it seems to not know it's *** from it's elbow on what part is for which axle (no detailed info).
If you can get the catelog open, can you track down the part numbers for upper and lower ball joints for a 1992 F250 4x4 with a Dana 50 TTB, so I can match it to the site that does work?
