Hi Guys,
This might be the dumbest question ever, but, does anyone have any opinion (who us?!) about the Diablo Sport Predator Chip tuner? I'm mostly interested in the Economy mode tune for a bump in MPG and looking for opinions or experience with this product, good and/or bad.

Thanks in advance for your comments /rants etc.
A lot of people have liked them as code readers more then tuners. At least with the older models.
As to what is in bold. First and foremost, these devices are performance enhancers. You may, may not see a change in MPG and if you do it could be either good or bad. Don't get these with the main idea being towards economy. It would take quite a bit, even at current fuel prices, depending on how many miles a year you put on the truck in order for it to pay itself off and then realize money savings. Tuner companies like to flaunt that supposedly their users gained MPG and gained a lot, however, you don't know how they calculated it and if there was anything else done with their truck to help gain those extra MPG.
Get them with a mind towards what they were designed for, performance. Your enjoyment will help quickly pay off the price tag of what it cost to get the device. You might be disappointed if you get it with the main thought of fuel economy.
Not what you probably wanted to hear, but that's reality for you.
Diablo Tech Guy said between 2 - 4 MPG was not an unreasonable expectation, depending on Driving habits, etc.
If it's not an unreasonable expectation then have him put it in writing. They won't. In fact, they usually have asterisks besides what claims of customers that they do list with disclaimers like "results not typical" or "results will very".
