You turned down the f150!?

Don't get bullydog, I highly recommend h&s, they have their tunes specifically dialed in for the 6.7.

Are going to delete emissions? I gained about 2-3mpg

Here is the thing on the buy back. I have to buy a new truck with the same sticker as mine so the ecoboost is out of the question. On top of that I get 0 incentives have to pay sticker tax and any upside down I may have. Ford makes a killing of that sale then will sell my current 250 and essentially make double profits I would still have to finance the truck, pay for tax tab and so on. So essential Ford doesn't lose any money. I am a little chapped. Now the tuner your mentioning I have heard bully can get folks near 25 mpg. The delete cannot happen as its a federal fine now for any delete that effects emissions. Sucks. I want to get into the 20's for the average . Current is 15

Im not so sure about the 25 mpg... I too can get that kind of mileage- going downhill and coasting i average great numbers I think that 10-20% increase would be great for fuel mileage... almost doubling your numbers just simply is not feasible. My truck went form about 10 mpg average to 12-13 mpg depending on driving habits. Thats a great percentage improvement, but like i said it wont double or get up to 25 mpg (keep in mind my truck is the 6.4, but either way i am running H&S mini maxx on it with all the "proper" work done to let it breathe.

I hear ya on that. Some of the reviews from the bully dog website is where I got my information from. That being said any increase would help. I know you said your getting 12-13 now and I am wanting an increase to 20 from 15 so I must sound like I am complaining haha. I can hope right? That being said, I need something that I can return to stock setting and bring to the dealer in order not to void a warranty. Seeing that my truck just had 10,000 dollars in full wiring and computer replacement repair covered by warranty one can see the importance for me anyway to maintain that warranty. I am interested in any recommendations that people may have, as well as the experiences they with their tuner.

Like i said i am running the H&S mini maxx, with other upgrades to allow the truck to breathe. Without removing the emissions equipment, there will be little change to your mileage. The changes and bragging you see and hear about fuel mileage numbers are mostly going to be with emissions systems removed. Removing those are what voids warranty and such.

I hear ya on that. As of now not only does it void it but if you buy the items for removal you must sign a waiver or something of the sort in order to allow them to sell it not to mention its only for "race and track purpose only." So that DPF Delete etc is out of the question for now.

perfectly understandable, i would not void a warranty on a truck as expensive as these either. With that being said tuning the truck to add power will only minimally affect mileage. You MIGHT gain 1-2 mpg if any i would think.

Signing stuff isn't necessary.

I hate to say, but as long as your egr and that huge exhaust processing plant is intact, your going to see that much gains, from just tuning. The best I've seen is 23.6, fully deleted, so I have my doubts that 25 could be seen regularly, or at all.

Give these guys a call and tell them what you are tying to do, they are very helped, helped me out a bunch.

Also, start a thread about bully dog tuners in the 6.7 section, quite a few of us use tuners over there

From personal experience with older trucks, Bully Dog is junk! It is nothing but a canned tune and their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. If you are going to tune it, get a custom tune from someone that knows what you are looking for.

Well I picked out the new truck today. Hope it all works out. Gonna go with a 14 350 lariat blue jeans with adobe lower accent long bed (172'') with nav etc. Should be a great fit. Ill keep y'all posted on the matter. I looked at H&S tuners and I think when I pull the trigger I will go with the,. An extra 2-3 miles per gallon (if that) will go a long way in a year for how many miles I drive.

HAHA I know I did too. But they are working a decent deal on the 350 that I really would be foolish to deny, we will see what happens but they put it aside and we will see what they say. As far as calling SPE I will and I look forward to seeing what they have.
