alright, my truck isnt on the road yet, but it will be and this is on the major concern list of things that have to be fixed.
My 1976 F-250, with a 360, has something broke and I cant figure out what it is.
When you womp on the gas the shifter shakes violently(so I dont do that) It also moves back in forth going down hill when there is any type of load on it.
I thought that it was a transmission mount broken somewhere, but I looked and cant find anything broken, all the motor mounts seem fine as well. other than that I dont know what it could be?
I dont know if it helps, but I know when it was broken. Going through about 2 feet of snow, pegged out in second, 4wl, cut the wheel hard up hill and it snapped......
But what snapped?? I cant find it. Any help is appreciated, thanx
