Soft shifts
I have a 1998 Expedition EB with a 5.4L and 4x4. I have seen a few videos on youtube of expeditions with the same problem. My problem is my shifts, particularly the 1-2 shift, seem very long and soft. The shifts take forever and i'm wondering if this is normal. Watch this video of how it shifts from 1 to 2. I will upload a video of mine soon.

How about posting a video of the shift points with you driving it normal instead of beating the snot out of it.
