Next you need to rep other people in the thread and/or the entire forum. You get 10 reps per 24 hour cycle.
You can rep an individual once every 30 reps. So if I rep you today, I have to rep 30 other people before I can rep you again.
You can only rep a post 1 time meaning I cannot rep post #xxxx more than once.
Each dark green box takes 100 points to achieve.
Each Light green box takes 200 points to achieve.
Once you hit 1500 reps you have all the boxes filled (11)
Then it takes 1000 more reps to get the highest title (superb rep)
1500 is brilliant
2000 is spectacular
2500 is superb
Rep points given and received are based on individuals rep points, post count and join date. Some folks only give 1-2 points, many give 5-10, very few give 25-30.
So, have at it. Press some of those +, make a witty comment or thank someone for helping you. - Just make sure you don't give a negative rep when it is not warranted.
When you receive a rep, be sure to send a thank you note. That goes a long way in getting more reps from that individual.

First off let me say thanks for the reps today. I get them back to you soon..
Cliff notes....
1) Make a list of the people you have repped so you dont spend time with the spreading the love message. ( means you havent repped 30 people since repping them) What time you did your last rounds is always helpful as you know when your time is up to hit the next ten.
2) Like Tim said Response to those that rep you goes along ways in continuing to stay on peoples list.
3) Post are important even if it is just a post in this thread saying that you hit your ten. As we cant rep the same post twice so we have to have posts to rep.
That is about all of it in a nut shell.. Have fun with it.. Dont be discouraged at first some days you see 2-3 people have repped you somedays it will be 10.

I'm Bryan and I answer to many different names.
There is my user name and then the gang uses abbreviations of it.
I started this thread because I had some questions about the Rep system.
Then this bunch of Loons took it and ran with it.
I just added your name to my master list of users I rep.
It replaced a user that does not respond to being repped.
There is another way of keeping track of the points.
Look to the top of the page here.
You will find a button in the blue bar that says "Members".
Click on it and a list of users will come up.
Then click on the "Reputation" button.
That sets the list in order of the user with the most points (currently SteveBricks)
Then in descending order 50 users to a page.
Find your user name and you can keep track of your progress.
