Oh ya, Hendrick paid off the guy & they are GM friends from before, it smells bad
Hendricks racing kinda reminds me of the Soviet era athletes in the olympics.............State trained, sponsored and full of steroids and given a unfair advantage over the other teams by having the officials in their pockets.
I would love to see Roush-Fenway walk off with the cup this year.........but that's a long shot with the system basically rigged to "favor" a select few.
NASCAR has driven ME and a LOT of other used to be "die-hards" AWAY from the sport for many reasons.
This "chase" format is BS...I mean a guy could have a 500 point lead up to the last 10 races...GONE...
The COT...I mean really...if I wanted to watch an IROC race where all cars are prepared "the same"...then I'd watch an IROC race...but this is NASCAR where he who "used to" build the better mousetrap won 200 or 100 races...today...that' isn't how it is...the $$$ have driven their way into the sport...is Mr. France BLIND to the EMPTY seats in his stands week after week after week?...I haven't gone to a race in probably 10 years...and I barely watch them on TV...when Sprint took over the series from Winston Cup...I got tired of seeing 10 laps of racing and then MISSING 15 laps while we were "at commercial"...but for what Sprint PAID for the series...they needed that advertising $$$...so I slowly have stopped watching and they have yet to attract me back because they keep tweaking things in Hendrick's favor...
And if you remember...the last SEVEN cups have been between TWO guys...Tony (who I enjoy watching) and pretty boy johnson...think about the other 41 regulars...man that's been a tough run for them!
