It's all glruffs' fault!
He posted a "poke" so I gave him something that when you poked it you got a reaction.

I think that it says a lot about how much we all want to get away from the reality of dealing with crap that we enjoy the innocence that Elmo represents.
Escaping, if only for the moment, refreshed my soul a bit.

Theres plenty of things that react when you "poke" them: no one specifically stated what type of reaction we were supposed to achieve.
