Hey All - Trying to figure out where my great (note sarcasm) new front end noise is coming from. It sounds like a really bad set of tires (hum, vibration type noise). It gets louder the faster I'm moving. Cornering has no effect on the noise. Could it be something other than tires? Wheel bearing failure perhaps?
It's a 96 F150 4x4 Short bed reg cab with Warn manual locking hubs. The truck has about 135k on it. And I'm running 31x10.5 BFG AT KOs with about 25K on them. The tires don't appear excessively choppy. But I rotated them anyhow and it hasn't seemed to have an effect.
