Tailgate lock...Question
So the original tailgate was stolen from my truck a while back. Truck is a 2008 F250 XLT. I replaced it with a used one that was probably stolen from someone elses truck. Anyway, I would like to be able to lock the tailgate handle and match it with my key. How do I go about doing this? Can I buy a lock cylinder from Ford and have them match my key and stick it in?

Do you have keyless entry on your truck? If so you can buy Pop and Lock power tailgate lock and it will lock the tailgate whenever you lock the doors. Pop and Lock model for the 08 through 10 is PAL8255. It is easy to istall I have it on my truck.
