I want to replace brake lines on my 96 f350 7.3 anyone know the size of line and nut size i need, plan on buying line in a role and cut and flare myself
I used 3/16" line. You're going to need adapters to go into most of the fittings, because the standard size tube nuts will be too small. Also, you will need to double-flare all of the ends of your brake lines. Don't try to single flare them.

RABS to center union: 3/8"x24 to 3/8"x24
center union to rear flexible line: 3/8"x24 to 3/8"x24

I recommend this place if you like to fabricate them yourself. The copper/nickle lines are easy to form and the tool they rent is excellent!
