Brake line size

Blew a brake line that runs behind the fuel tank today. None of the local mechanics have time to do it til Wed or Thurs., but can't wait that long. Going to attempt cutting the burst section out, flaring fittings on all ends and patching in a new piece. I've done just about everything to my trucks, including engines and trans., but strangely enough, never a flared brake line. I was told that there are 2 different sized brake lines that run behind the fuel tank. Wondering exactly what the 2 sizes are so I can stop on my way in to work tomorrow, make 1 stop and get everything I need and be done with it. I plan on buying 2 rolls of brake line, 1 of each size, cause I doubt it will hurt to have extra on hand. Does anyone know what the size of those lines is, and have any tips on how to best cut and flare the old/new lines? Thank in advance!

not sure on the size,you could measure with calipers, you will need a double flaring tool and make some practice flares on scrap piece.or try to buy a line thats close to required length.
