Is there a better power steering pump out there? The wife's decided to have a massive leak at the high pressure fitting on the reservoir. I'll look into it more later, but it appears to be from where the metal sleeve is pressed into the plastic reservoir housing. She's got a lift and is running 12.5" tires, so if there's something more suitable for the wider tires I'd like to hear about it.
If no upgrades, what brand have you had luck with or a bad experience with?
Is a Saginaw pump conversion possible? I done one on a 92 F250 351W, the donor was a mid 70s ford truck and I loved it, no leaks, no squel, and easier to turn.
Maybe your is just a low pressure side leak James. Her leak shot a stream about 1/4 of the diameter of a pencil lead, but if you turned the wheel just slightly it had enough pressure to splash fluid everywhere and empty the reservoir in about 10 seconds.
I'd suggest you try and find the leak and verify it's on the low pressure side before a high side leak leaves you stranded.
Chris, AGR is one of the only places I could find years ago. I wanted to run there RockRam kit, but shied away after some bad reviews. I'm talking many years ago, so I don't know how they are now. I know that they have been used on some magazines build ups.

Thanks for the comments Chris... I wiped the reservoir down today and hope to see where it is coming from.. The entire area looks like it has been sprayed, all over the intercooler pipe and everything in the immediate area.. The cap doesn't seal very tight and I think that may have something to do with it.

According to their warranty page on the website. They offer a whopping 90 day warranty on the pump and state you cannot use ATF in there. I don't know if the hydroboost system requires the ATF or if it's the pump, but I'm not sure I want to experiment with her truck.
I just last week installed a Motorcraft on mine because the Cordone that was installed 3 months ago started leaking and whining. It seems to be good but it has only been a week. Not sure how much the Motorcraft was because it was a swap thing.Joel,at Quality Brake put it on for me during all of the steering box problems I had.
Chris have you thought about calling the folks at Red Head and seeing if they have a reccomendation? Whereas their steering boxes are top notch they may have some insight.
